From the heyday of the 90s where every street corner has someone selling VCDs/DVDs and such, to the situation now whereby you do have to do some hunting.

Not saying that it has completely dissappeared but well it’s no longer as rampant as before. However, that being said, you can buy magazines that is centered around P2P in HK. Bittorrent, Edonkey and what etc.

(Mainland) China is a different world. HK has quite effective copyright laws. (Though bootleg software on CDR and DVDs are rampant, as I understand they are in New York.)

These companies are largely British inventions or were created using British companies as models a fair while back. RTHK in particular is essentially a spinoff of BBC.
