They are looking to hire 1,500 linguists, mathematicians, electrical engineers and intelligence analysts by September. So I’m not surprised that they are supporting NPR, since this gives them access to their target audience.

NPR and other radio stations typically have a deal with one of two centralized traffic reporting companies which offer traffic reports for “free” in exchange for the ability to sell sponsorships during their traffic reports. It’s a big business, run efficiently.
