My second child is named Theo, partly after Theo Kretschmar-Schuldorff, from ‘The Life and Death of Colonel Blimp’, the finest film ever made.
Also because Theo means god, (as in Theology), and we imagined him being a little god of the household, which he is. And Theo also means ‘watcher’, (as in Theatre). We imagined him watching us with interest, which he does not.
I hope our T(h)eos share a happy, fortunate and lengthy destiny, and wish you the best of luck on this great adventure.
