  1. Karl says:

All in all, pretty inane, but, I laughed heartily at, “Scalia to Marx in one easy step.”

  2. Mikael Pawlo says:

Mohahaha – give Doris my regards!

  3. “Sign my Petition and forward to your closest 8,675,309 friends!”

    OK, I chuckled 🙂

  4. David says:

Ahh but I heard it wasn’t a spelling error. Less + ing. Irony.

  5. I can totally sympathize with having your name misspelled.

  6. Lessig says:

ok, you win. but how do you pronounce it!

  7. If you’re talking about my last name (and I’m guessing that you are), I pronounce it “shchih-PINE-chick”.

(The sound sequence ‘shch’ doesn’t occur in English within a single syllable, but it can occur across words, as in the example “fresh cheese”.)

  8. Lessig says:

wow. if you ever came to law school, I’d have to start calling on students by their first names.

  9. Law school for me? Not likely. Besides, last Friday June 13, I received a master’s degree in computer science from the University of Chicago–my second master’s degree in six years.

If I ever go back to school, it won’t be for at least five years or more And it’ll probably be for a PhD in mathematics.
