    I support citizen-funded elections because without them, our system of government doesn’t work very well. But restricting campaign financing seems to restrict freedom of speech, because money buys speech in political campaigns. Since you’re a law professor, you must be far more acutely aware of the free speech implications of election funding than I am. Where can I find a discussion of this problem?

    As I write this, I have just discovered the Wikipedia article on Buckley v. Valeo, but I’m still looking for additional information on this.
