    How about contributing to campaigns of swing state legislators who will commit to passing laws a
    facilitating small contributor funding for all state campaigns? This would then include federal house, senate, and presidential campaigns in the state. Carry out your plan state by state.

    Maybe you could also get them to require national candidates to personally give five to ten publicly funded 30 minute TV speeches in prime time in the 2-3 months before primaries and general elections. This would put some of the policy back into politics. Give something for reporters to write about other than gaffes and polls. Much better than “debates.” The rise of soundbites over policy has been recently bemoaned by Matt Bai. I communicated with Matt and he likes the speeches idea.
